About Riko Sugama Berlin Sanshin Kyoshitsu

The Riko Sugama Sanshin Kyoshitsu Berlin was established in 2020 and is a place where students fascinated by the traditional music of Okinawa gather. Among our members are some who also belong to the open community "Berlin Sanshin Club," which was founded in 2018. These members, guided by their teacher, delve deeply into the traditional Ryūkyū music and arts, striving to improve their skills daily.


At our studio, we practice a wide repertoire that ranges from classical music of the 15th century (Koten) to Okinawan folk songs (Minyo). Both beginners and experienced players are warmly welcome! As we learn the rich traditional music of Okinawa, referred to as the "Hub of Asia," you can meet new friends and share beautiful moments together. Those interested are invited to visit us and experience the sounds of Okinawa. Let us sing together with joy!

洌鎌 利好(すがま りこ)ベルリン三線教室は、2020年に設立され、沖縄の伝統音楽に魅了された生徒たちが集う場所です。当教室のメンバーの中には、2018年に発足されたフリー参加型のコミュニティ、ベルリン三線クラブに所属しながらも、さらに深く琉球古典音楽や芸能に興味を持ち、芸を磨きたいメンバーが日々練習を重ねています。 私たちの教室では、15世紀ごろに生まれた古典音楽から沖縄民謡まで幅広くお稽古しており、初めての方も、経験者も大歓迎です！沖縄の豊かな伝統音楽を楽しく学びながら、新しい仲間と出会い、心を通わせる時間を一緒に過ごしましょう。興味を持たれた方は、ぜひ一度見学にいらしてください。沖縄の音色に触れ、共に楽しくうたいましょう！

Lesson Format

In-Person Lessons

  • Private Lesson – 50 minutes
  • Private Lesson (+1) – 70 minutes
  • Group Lesson – 90 minutes

Online Lessons

  • Same pricing and ticket packages as in-person lessons
  • Lesson duration is 15 minutes longer than in-person sessions
  • Scheduling is highly flexible and arranged individually to suit your availability
  • Online lessons allow you to practice from your own space while receiving focused, one-on-one guidance at a time that works best for you.


Instrument Rental

Sanshin rental available : €20 per month

  • First Lesson – Free
  • Single Lesson – €50


Ticket Packages

(valid for 6 months)

  • 3 Lessons – €135 (€45 per lesson)
  • 5 Lessons – €200 (€40 per lesson)
  • 10 Lessons – €350 (€35 per lesson)


Important Information


  • Ticket packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • Ticket packages are offered as a discounted option for students who can commit their schedule in advance.
  • Please note that negotiations, extensions, or adjustments to ticket packages will not be accepted due to personal circumstances, including work schedule changes, sudden travel, or other private commitments.
  • Exceptions may only be considered in cases of long-term unavailability of Riko (over one month) or natural disasters and comparable force majeure situations.
  • Unused lessons cannot be carried over beyond the validity period, and refunds or changes cannot be made after purchase.
  • Before purchasing a ticket package, please carefully consider your schedule over the next six months.
